This is general information, not a diagnosis. Your physio will assess you properly at your first visit. If your pain is severe or came on suddenly, please see a doctor first.
A first visit
This is how a typical first physio assessment runs. Your physio may spend longer on one part if you need it.
Your physio reads the intake form you sent, so you do not repeat yourself.
When it started, what makes it worse, your work, your sleep and what you want to get back to.
Simple movement tests and gentle hands-on checks. Shorts help for hip, knee and ankle visits.
What we think is going on, how many visits it may take and the options that fit your budget.
Two or three exercises, sent to your phone with short videos.
