Case study · In-house work

Hospitality design studio,
Singapore

An award-winning studio was hard to find online. A full relaunch, project-led content and AI search work changed that.

About this work: this is in-house work for the studio, not a Noder client project. It uses the same methods we use for clients.

Great work that search could not see

The studio designs hotels, restaurants and bars around the world. Its projects win awards. Online, very few people could find it.

Before the relaunch, the website appeared in almost no Google searches. Most visitors already knew the studio by name. The site's structure made it hard for Google to understand what the studio does. Content updates were manual and slow.

At the same time, people had started asking AI tools which studios to hire. The studio needed to be part of those answers.

What we did

  • A full website relaunch. We rebuilt the site with a modern design on Webflow, extended with custom code. We redirected every old address, so existing rankings carried over. We rewrote page titles, fixed internal links and resubmitted the sitemap.
  • Content built around the projects. We started a programme of Insights articles, with several articles for each project. Each article draws on reliable sources and links back to its project. We also rewrote older articles to the same standard.
  • Clear signals for AI search. We added structured data to the articles and fixed image descriptions. The studio's awards now appear across the site from one central list. We also set up its Google Business Profile.
  • Automated indexing. We built a workflow that scans the site twice a day. It finds new or changed pages and asks Google to index them. Nobody has to do this by hand.

From hard to find to named first

Within three months of the relaunch, the site was appearing in Google searches more than twenty times as often each day. Daily clicks more than doubled.

Growth picked up again as the Insights articles went live. In October, daily impressions reached fifty times the level before the relaunch. Daily clicks were five times higher.

The bigger change came in AI search. Ask Google for a hospitality design studio based in Singapore, and its AI Overview names this studio first. It lists the studio among leading hotel interior design studios. For restaurant interior design studios, it is the top local result.

The studio no longer depends on people knowing its name. It now shows up while clients are still deciding who to call.

We use the same methods in our SEO and AI search optimisation plans. The indexing workflow is an example of the AI automation we build.

AI answers vary by person, time and location. These results were checked from Singapore at the time of writing.
